Oil pulling has recently been trending as another step one can take in improving their oral health in a natural, non-invasive way. It has been suggested that the best time to oil-pull is in the morning before breakfast (or coffee). Take about one tablespoon of our olivespa Daily Pulling Oil into the mouth and simply begin gently swishing it around. The optimum time of a pull is about 15-20 minutes. However, as you begin to make this a part of your morning ritual, start at about 5 minutes and work your way up. When the pull is complete, spit out the oil into a trash can (you don’t want to clog the sink), and rinse your mouth out with saltwater.

Many people have claimed that introducing oil-pulling to their morning regimen has reduced bad breath, improved overall gum health, and some have even claimed that oil-pulling promotes whiter teeth.

Let the detoxification begin!
